A Seed Deep Healing Course

Becoming the Beloved Daughter

A guided journey that heals your father-wound and restores your identity as God’s beloved daughter so you can begin to experience emotional freedom, secure attachment to God, and a deep, lived sense of being loved, cherished and securely held.

If You’re Honest… Something Has Never Felt Quite Right Inside

You’ve loved God for years - maybe decades - but there’s always been a quiet ache inside you.

A distance you can’t close.

A longing you can’t quite satisfy.

A sense that something in your relationship with God… just doesn’t feel right.

You pray, but you don’t really trust that they are heard or answered.

You believe in God’s love, but you struggle to feel it.

You read Scripture, but something inside still feels afraid, unsure, even frustrated or angry.

You’re drawn to intimacy with God, but something in you also pulls back.

And underneath it all, you wonder:

“Why can’t I feel close to God the way I want to?”

It’s not your fault.
You haven’t failed spiritually.
You’re not “too much.”
You’re not broken.
You’re not imagining it.

Something real has shaped your ability to trust, receive, and rest in God.

And it began when you were a little girl, long before your spiritual journey ever started.

This is the wound beneath all the other wounds.

The ache beneath all your prayers.

The quiet grief you’ve never been able to name.

This the Father-Wound.

Your Father-Wound Has Been Telling Your Story

Whether your father was absent, distant, critical, unpredictable, demanding, emotionally unavailable, or even abusive…

Your early experiences with him shaped:

  • How you see yourself

  • How you relate to men

  • How you experience love

  • How safe you feel opening up

  • How you receive guidance

  • How you understand authority

  • And most of all… how you see and relate to God.

Without ever realizing it, you may have inherited an image of God that resembles your earthly father more than your heavenly Father.

This creates spiritual confusion, such as:

  • “God loves me… but is God disappointed in me?”

  • “Is God safe or is God waiting for me to mess up?”

  • “Does God protect me, or am I on my own?”

  • “Why can’t I hear God clearly?”

  • “Why do I feel anxious around intimacy with God?”

  • “Why do I keep attracting emotionally unavailable men?”

  • “Why do I lose myself in relationships?”

BUT…the Truth is…

You Are A Beloved Daughter

Under all the confusion, all the spiritual striving, all the shame,
all the performing…

Is a woman who was made to be…

  • Safe

  • Seen

  • Wanted

  • Chosen

  • Cherished

  • Guided

  • Delighted in

  • Held

  • Loved

  • Known

You weren’t made for fear-based faith.

You weren’t made for spiritual self-abandonment.

You weren’t made to survive off scraps of affection.

You weren’t made to live as someone God “puts up with.”

You were made to be a Beloved Daughter.

And healing your father-wound is the pathway back to who you truly are.

Course FAQs

  • No. This work is not about blame, accusation, or judgment.

    It’s about truth and healing.

Many fathers did the best they could with what they were given — and still caused real wounds. This course helps you name what shaped you, tend the places that still ache, and allow God to heal what was never safe or whole. You can honor your father and heal your wound at the same time.

  • You’re welcome here. This course does not assume or require reconciliation. It focuses on your healing, your boundaries, and your relationship with God—wisely and tenderly.

  • This course is for you. “Father-wound” can include absence, emotional distance, addiction, unpredictability, harshness, perfectionism, spiritual manipulation, or simply never feeling protected or delighted in. You don’t need a dramatic story for this to be real.

  • No. This is a Christian spiritual formation course—teaching, guided practices, and spiritual support. While it can be deeply healing, it is not a replacement for therapy or clinical mental health care.

That said, the course is trauma-aware, emotionally intelligent, and grounded in attachment theory and contemplative Christian spirituality. Many women find it complements therapy beautifully. If you are currently in therapy, this work can deepen and support what you’re already doing.

  • That’s normal. Father-wound work often touches grief, anger, longing, fear, and deep desire for love and safety. The course is designed to be gentle, paced, and grounded, with practices that help you stay resourced rather than overwhelmed. You will be guided toward safety, grounding, and God’s presence at every step.

You’ll always be invited to go at your own pace and to practice wise compassionate self-care.

  • You are not disqualified — you are exactly who this course is for.

Many women enter this journey feeling confused, disconnected, wary, or even afraid of God. You don’t need a “strong faith” to begin. You only need a willingness to be honest.

This course meets you where you are — not where you think you should be.

  • This course is for any woman whose relationship with herself, God, or others has been shaped by a father-wound — regardless of marital status or life circumstances.

Some women come to this work while married. Some are single. Some are divorced. The common thread is not the event — it’s the wound and the longing for healing.

  • Yes. This course is rooted in historic Christian spirituality, contemplative practice, Scripture, and a deeply relational understanding of God.

It is intentionally non-patriarchal, non-shaming, and non-performative. You will not be asked to bypass pain with platitudes or “try harder” spiritually. Instead, you will be invited into presence, truth, and grace.

Women from many Christian backgrounds — evangelical, mainline, Catholic, contemplative, or “reconstructing” — find this work deeply resonant.

  • You receive lifetime access.

This is not a race. Many women return to the material multiple times as they continue to grow and heal. You are welcome to move at the pace that honors your life, your nervous system, and your season.

  • Most lessons are 10–20 minutes, with optional reflection and prayer practices.

You can expect to spend anywhere from 30–90 minutes per week, depending on how deeply you choose to engage. Everything is designed to be adaptable to your real life.

  • If your heart is stirring, that’s often the sign of readiness.

    You don’t need certainty.
You don’t need everything figured out.
You don’t need to be “strong enough.”

You only need a gentle willingness to begin.

  • Yes. You will have access to optional group Q&A or integration sessions, as well as the Seed Deep Abbey community space. You are never required to share, and you are always invited to engage in ways that feel safe for you.

  • No. You will never be pressured to share anything personal. You can participate quietly, reflect privately, and receive what you need without performing vulnerability.

  • That makes sense.

Healing always involves stepping into the unknown. But you will not walk alone. This course is designed to hold you with care, compassion, and reverence for your story.

    You are not broken.
    You are becoming whole.

  • Because this course is a sacred, experiential journey into healing and spiritual formation, I want you to feel both safe and clear as you enroll.

If you discover that this course is not the right fit for you at this time, you may request a refund within 7 days of course commencement, provided that you have not accessed more than 25% of the course content.

After this period, or once 25% or more course content has been accessed, refunds are no longer available. This policy helps honor the integrity of the course, the depth of the work, and the energy required to hold this container with care.

If you have questions or concerns before enrolling, I warmly encourage you to reach out. Discernment is always welcome here.

Thank you for honoring this journey — both yours and mine.

Meet Your Instructor & Spiritual Director

I didn’t create this course as an expert standing at a distance. I created it because I had to walk this road myself.

For much of my life, I was confident, competent, capable…and desperately if not quietly exhausted—always discerning the room, managing expectations, doing all the emotional work in relationship, and trying to be “easy” to love. I believed in God and loved Him deeply, but I never felt loved, held or known myself. Safety felt uncertain. Rest felt earned.

Healing my own father-wound didn’t happen all at once. It happened slowly, day-by-day - through prayer, honest grief, courageous truth-telling, humble spiritual seeking, wrestling with God and Scripture - and finally noticing how my early experiences of life with Dad had shaped both my inner and outer life and my image of God. As God and I tended that wound together, something gradually shifted: I stopped striving and performing for worth, belonging and belovedness and simply began to receive it.

I formed Seed Deep Abbey to be a place shaped in that same kind of slow, grounded healing, where women aren’t rushed, fixed, or spiritualized past their pain (haven’t we had enough of that?!), but gently and patiently formed through presence, practice, and companionship. It’s where I do my work as a spiritual director and formation guide, holding space for the kind of transformation that reaches both soul and body.

This course exists because I’ve experienced personally what becomes possible when the father-wound is honestly named with compassion and met with God’s steady love. It’s not about blame. It’s about freedom. And it’s an invitation into a truer, quieter way of living from belovedness rather than survival.

Stories from the Journey

  • A Path Towards Healing

“This course gave me language for my pain and a path toward healing it. I never felt like I belonged, I was always on the outside looking in. I no longer feel like I’m ‘too much’ or ‘not enough.’ I feel beloved.”

    —Claire

  • Rooted In God

“Before this work, I felt like I was always bracing myself - with God, with my husband, with life. Now I feel rooted. I trust God in a way I never thought was possible. And it has changed everything.”

    - Amanda

  • Resting In Faith

“I realized how much my relationship with my father shaped my image of God. But something has slowly shifted. God no longer feels distant or critical. For the first time, I feel held and loved. Faith feels like a place of rest.

    - Syndee

A Heartfelt Invitation

If you’ve made it this far, it’s likely because something inside you recognizes itself here.

Maybe it’s the ache you’ve carried quietly for years.
Maybe it’s the longing to feel safe with God.
Maybe it’s the exhaustion of trying to be strong, faithful, good -
without ever feeling truly held.

You have done nothing wrong.

The distance you feel is not a failure of faith.
The confusion is not because you haven’t prayed hard enough.
The longing in you is not a weakness.

It is an invitation.

An invitation to let God meet you not as a taskmaster or judge, but as a loving, present Father,
who delights in you, listens to you, protects you, provides for you, and faithfully forms you into the woman you were always meant to become.

You don’t need to fix yourself before you begin.
You don’t need to have the words.
You don’t need to know exactly what will happen next.

You only need a willingness to step toward healing — slowly, honestly, at your own pace.

This journey is not about effort.
It is about receiving.

Receiving truth.
Receiving love.
Receiving safety.
Receiving your true identity.

If your heart feels tender right now, that’s okay.
Tenderness is often the doorway.

🕊️ You are welcome here.

My prayer for you:

May you come home to yourself.
May you discover God’s kindness waiting for you.
May you rest in the truth that you are deeply, irrevocably beloved.
